Welcome to A-Game Agency

Two weeks ago, I took a big step in my journey as an entrepreneur when I launched my own business page. Today, I want to share a bit about my journey into self-employment and my vision for the future:

For the past 12 years, I've been working in the world of poker. It's a field that's often seen as male-dominated, but I've learned to thrive in this often challenging environment. However, for the past 3 years, I've been consulting 2 big companies in sponsorship, live events, and communication, moving from one big client straight to the next - no big need to go on the hunt for further opportunities as those clients kept my fairly busy in my time there.

September marked the end of a significant consultancy agreement, and it was a pivotal moment for me. I knew it was time to venture out on my own. I had a burning desire to create something unique, something that I thought is missing in the poker space. And additionally I wanted to give more companies the opportunity to work with me, and most importantly, to expand from B2B to B2C.

Why B2C you might ask? It's because one of the most common questions I receive is, "How do I become a team pro?" While there's no one-size-fits-all answer, I firmly believe that I can help poker players build their brands to a level where they become noticed by online and live poker companies, casinos, and other sponsorship opportunities.

But self-employment isn't always a smooth ride. It comes with fear, self-doubt, and the need to adapt as you realize your initial approach might not be the right one. I re-read the book "The Secret Thoughts of Successful Women" by Valerie Young - which definitely helped with a lot of that self-doubt. Yet, it also brings inspiring meetings, motivating feedback, and a promising vision of the future.

I'm thrilled to be on this journey, to face the challenges head-on, and to support poker players in achieving their dreams and businesses leveling up. The path to self-employment might not always be easy, but it's undoubtedly rewarding.

Thank you for your support, and I'm excited to share this adventure with you all! If you're a poker player looking to level up your brand, if you are a business looking for expertise in sponsorship, communication, live events or if you are just curious about the journey of self-employment, don't hesitate to reach out.
